The college football season has been full of ups in 2011. We've seen some incredible plays this year, and the clip you're about to watch can match those without question.
Lindsey Wilson running back Dakota Brown turned what appeared to be a short yardage gain into a touchdown against the University of Virginia -Wise last week. Check it out!
I was more impressed with what Brown did after staying on his feet, because the second hit he took was quite ferocious. In sports you can't measure determination, but it's clear that young Dakota Brown has tons of it to go around.

Taiwanese Animation Video: Ndamukong Suh is Even Dirty As a Cartoon
Ndamukong Suh didn't have the best Thanksgiving. His antics versus Green Bay on turkey day lead to an ejection, a Lions loss, and now a two-game suspension handed down by the NFL.
While all that sounds pretty crappy for Suh and Detroit fans, the rest of us can get a laugh out of it thanks to another Taiwanese animation video.

Video: Mike Tyson Sings on Brazilian Television
Mike Tyson continues to travel the world and make appearances everyone he can these days. The former heavyweight boxing champion of the world was in Brazil over the weekend and took some time out to display his vocal talents.
Check out Tyson singing "The Girl From Ipanema".
I think it's safe to say that Mike is better than Manny Pacquiao when it comes to vocal skills.

Hoops Video: Jeff Green Dunks on Rajon Rondo
This is the time of year when basketball fans expect crazy in-game dunks by NBA ballers, but with this crappy lockout ongoing, the posterization is being delivered via charity and exhibition games. While the quality of play is far less impressive than normal, the dunks are still pretty nasty.
Check out Jeff Green with a sick windmill over Celtics' teammate Rajon Rondo.

Video: Tebowing for Dummies by The Fantasy Chix
Whether you love Tim Tebow, hate him, or find yourself indifferent like myself, the one thing we can all say for certain is that his popularity grows with each passing day.
The "Tebowing" movement is all the rage these days for reasons beyond my comprehension level, and maybe it's good I don't understand such nonsense. I've placed this new fascination in the same box with planking, so hopefully it will go away soon!
If you haven't seen anyone "Tebowing", or want to learn how to do it yourself, check out this video by the Fantasy Chix.
On a side note, these Fantasy Chix have the right idea to draw attention to their site. Guys everywhere will save the url just for the bikinis. Nothing wrong with hot babes talking football in swimsuits.

Eye Candy.....Draya Michele of Basketball Wives
I've never watched VH1's Basketball Wives nor do I plan to start anytime soon. Some garbage on television I just can't stomach, and that's one of them. I'm sure though the program will keep running without me tuning in for it.
With that said however, it doesn't mean I don't appreciate some of the nice looking chicks on the show.
This is Draya Michele. She's a former exotic dancer and is rumored to have had relations with numerous pro ball players, although those rumors haven't been confirmed or denied. I could care less about whether she slept with any of them as long as she keeps making appearances in music videos and taking pics like this!
Is she hot or just another average dame? Vote below.

NBA Video: Classic 1985 Slam Dunk Contest
This has to be considered one of the best slam dunk competitions of all time. The list of competitors is ridiculous. I won't worry about listing all of them, but just know it featured greats like Dominique Wilkins, Julius Erving, Clyde Drexler, and Michael Jordan.
So sit back for a couple of minutes and relive the 1985 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. You can thank me later. #ENDTHELOCKOUT
Those were the days when we got more than 4 guys who actually wanted to dunk for the fans. I've been crying out for a return to a competition where 8-10 guys participate for years.
I bet Jordan is still bitter he lost.

Fresh Footwork.....Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star Boot
It's been months since I posted some hot kicks. To be honest I hadn't really seen much that caught my eye, although there have been some very popular releases this fall.
When I saw this Chuck Taylor 'Coated Canvas' Boot I knew it was one piece of footwork that deserved some shine here on the site.
I've had my fair share of Chuck's and certainly wouldn't mind adding this pair to my collection. It's got a unique look that will certainly turn heads in any crowd. The best part is they're affordable, priced at around $70 bucks on Converse.com.

NHL Video: Sidney Crosby Makes Triumphant Return
Sidney Crosby's return to the NHL was exactly what the league needed. The Penguins' star was sidelined for almost a full year following two concussions last season, and many wondered whether he would ever skate again.
Pittsburgh battled the New York Islanders on Monday night in Crosby's return. Crosby wasted little time making his presence felt. "The Kid" netted two goals and assisted on two others, as the Pens defeated the basement dwelling Islanders 5-0.
I, like many of fans of the National Hockey League are thrilled to have Crosby back on the ice. He's the face of the league along with Alexander Ovechkin, and with the NBA still struggling to get a labor deal done, this is a prime opportunity to capture the imaginations of casual and hardcore hockey fans alike.

Your Language is Offensive: Lee Corso Drops F-Bomb Live on College Gameday
Lee Corso is a funny guy. He understands how to play up to the crowd on ESPN's College Gameday, and he's very good at it.
This morning Corso had a bit of a slip up, dropping the outlawed f*ck expletive live on air. I say slip up, but to me it sounded like that's really what he wanted to say. Oops.
I found the reaction of Chris Fowler to be the best part of the video beyond Lee's "ah, fuck it". Fowler immediately buried his face in his hands! Classic stuff. Corso later apologized.

The Diesel's days as the most dominant force in the NBA may be long gone, but he's still a larger than life personality and media figure.
O'Neal sat down with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts to discuss his new book Shaq Uncut. The two covered a wide range of subjects including struggles growing up, his relationship with Kobe Bryant, infidelity in his marriage, and his pursuit of a Ph.D.
Am I the only person that thinks Shaq could do better than Flavor Flav's sloppy seconds? Hoops is sexy as hell, but come on man.

Coach K Sits Alone Atop Division 1 Men's College Basketball
I've been a Duke basketball fan for as long as I can remember.
On Tuesday night Coach Mike Krzyzewski became the all time wins leader in Division 1 men's basketball history by passing his mentor and former coach Bobby Knight. Duke defeated a game Michigan State squad led by Tom Izzo 74-69 to assist Krzyzewski in recording his 903rd career victory. The game was played in basketball's mecca, Madison Square Garden.
Coach K has done everything imaginable in basketball. He's won four national Championships, 13 ACC titles, and led team USA back to Olympic gold in recent years.
The Duke program has been fortunate to have Coach K at the helm over the years, and his influence has reaped major rewards for the university, the ACC, and for college basketball.
I know a lot of folks out there who dislike Duke, and that's fine. You are entitled to like or dislike whoever you choose, but just remember that even though you may not like Krzyzewski, you have to respect him for all the good he's done for the game.
Congrats coach! Now it's time to shoot for the all time wins record held by Pat Summitt. As a fan I hope you stick around forever!

Video/Audio: ESPN Cleveland Radio Host Tony Rizzo Goes Ballistic on Browns
The Cleveland Browns haven't been very good this year. That I think we can all agree on. The high hopes of the city and the organization have been abandoned at this point for dreams of next year yet again.
Tony Rizzo hosts The Really Big Show on ESPN radio in Cleveland. You may have heard of him. If you haven't this clip is reason enough to start listening. I would urge you to do so this week because he may not be around much longer.
I believe this happened after a loss to the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. It's gotta be one of the best radio rants I've heard in a long time. Funny stuff! Check it out.
I can't stop laughing. This is epic! I feel his pain as a St. Louis Rams fan, but even I can't fathom the level of discontent that must be involved with being a sports fan in Cleveland. The Browns, Indians, and Cavaliers are perennial losers.
I love radio. It's an awesome outlet for outbursts like this!

Video: Bob Costas Full Interview with Jerry Sandusky
Jerry Sandusky is finally talking about what happened at Penn State. The former Nittany Lions defensive coordinator spoke with Bob Costas in his first interview since the drama began unfolding in Happy Valley.
NBC was able to land the interview on "Rock Center", which is a new show hosted by anchor Brian Williams. Costas, who is renown in the sports world, didn't waste time beating around the bush with Sandusky and got straight to the point with some hard hitting questions.

It's hard to believe that Sandusky is telling the truth. He sounded shaky when asked about what happened in the shower, and in my opinion sounds like a man scared about what's going to happen to him next. You can view the full interview transcript over at Cosby Sweaters.

NFL Video: Rex Ryan Your Language is Offensive
The Jets took the loss to the Patriots in ugly fashion last night. Losses put people in bad moods. That's a given. Fans like to get liquored up during the game and scream obscenities to anyone within shouting distance. That also is a given. But when you combine the bad mood with the drunk fans, what you get is the following video with Jets head coach Rex Ryan.
Listen in at the 0:16 second mark.
The league is looking into Rex's comments at this time. The odds of a fine are great. You can curse on HBO's Hard Knocks, but you can't talk to the fans that way. Image is everything.

NBA Video: David Stern Speaks on Labor Negotiations after Rejected Proposal by Players
The NBA is a mess. The negotiations have broken down completely, and what you'll get here is David Stern's viewpoint from on the process and subsequent failure, plus what he envisions in the short term for his NBA.
Stern was hard on them, which I expected. He sounds so sad, yet somehow continues to find ways to take shots at the NBPA and it's reps.
The whole "nuclear winter" comment is a bit much I think, although I did find it somewhat amusing that he would compare the loss of millions of lives from horrific bombing, to business dealings between owners of professional sports franchises and their players. I can understand the war/battle analogy, but a nuclear fallout isn't the best way to describe it. It's still just basketball.

Video: Mike Tyson Plays Republican Presidential Candidate Herman Cain
Twenty years ago I couldn't have imagined Mike Tyson acting, much less doing comedic spoofs of presidential candidates, but times clearly do change.
If you've been following politics lately you've heard of Herman Cain. He's the black man trying to secure the Republican nomination for President. The entire thing is weird to me, but it just goes to show how desperate the right wing is these days.
In the following video, Tyson gives us his best Cain impression. Check it out.
Mike has some natural talent as a funny man and obviously isn't scared to take a few shots at other celebs! Keep the humor coming Mike! Hat tip to LosThatSportsBlog.

2011 Worst Year of Scandal in NCAA History
Coming into this season, Jim Tressel was the coach at The Ohio State University and Terrell Pryor was the 'suspended' quarterback. The previous season's tattoo/memorabilia scandal was going to force Pryor, along with two other teammates to miss the first five games of the year. Doesn't really seem like that long ago now does it? Ohio State was the focal point of all the investigations and proves, post Auburn. They were the hot button topic as the NCAA investigated Tressel and other suspected violations.
Terrell Pryor was exposed for some dealings with a car dealer not long after. That fog hung over the program for about a week, while he parlayed his options on whether to go pro or not. Once he left, a page turned and what Ohio State fans got was disaster when they read the first sentence. Coach Jim Tressel was let go, or resigned, or whatever he and the university decided to call it. Seemed it couldn't get much worse, but the whirlwind in Columbus continued to ravage the program, as players old and new admitted to accepting gifts and improper benefits.
Those were dark days in Buckeye land. I can recall calling this a black eye for college football. It hurt, will be around for a little while, and it's embarrassing, but you can move on.
What happened next was unexpected, and in the same breath somewhat expected. The University of Miami finding themselves in the midst of another scandal, and one that apparently had long legs, was definitely surprising. The program had already faced major sanctions in the past., so you would think that it was keeping itself in compliance with NCAA rules. But while you wanted to believe they were doing it the right way, the U found themselves neck deep in arguably, at least with what we've been fed so far, the worst mess in the history of college athletics. Another 'Luther Campbell' type of scenario filled with money, cars, jewelry, and women.
Insert Nevin Shapiro. This fellow came along and took the country and college sports world by storm with his tale of major conduct violations by members of the Miami football and basketball programs, as well as other higher ups, including the school president. He made claims of being a financial faucet to the players, and in one case handling an abortion for a guy. The story from Shapiro had many chapters as it encompassed an 8-10 year period. Players that collect NFL checks right now were implicated in a story that apparently dates back to the start of the 2000's.
The country forgot about Ohio State when the Miami story came out. The violations in Columbus paled in comparison to what was delivered in the Hurricane scandal. I can recall saying this was more of a body shot for college sports. It was a shot that hurt and slowed athletics.
All was quiet on the front as conference realignment took center stage for about a month or so, which really is a scandal depending upon your perspective. The NCAA had seemingly witnessed it's roughest patch with the Miami fiasco and weathered the storm, but just as the sun rises in the morning, so did some more dirt.
As I type this up we're all witnessing the dramatic fall from grace of Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno. The man who's been at Penn State longer than Penn State's been a university is about to get his walking papers. Jerry Sandusky, who worked as an assistant coach at Paterno's side sexually molested young boys, and according to reports Joe Pa was alerted to one specific act and did nothing. The school has been rocked over the last 48 hours, and the tremors are reverberating throughout universities and athletic programs across the country. People everywhere are talking about this because it's bigger than sports, it's about life.
Jerry Sandusky has been charged with sexually abusing eight boys from 1994-2009, in what has to be one of the most tragic and sickening cases in college sports history. Sandusky was a trusted friend to many and a figure that young boys respected, but he managed to use that trust to commit acts that he will pay for in this life or the next. I can't judge him, but he clearly must be a very sick man.
Penn State's story will continue over the next few months on ESPN, the next few years in the courts, and for the rest of several young men's lives because those in power refused to speak up and stop abuse. Of all the scandals, Penn State's is the most heinous and detrimental to college sports. I would say this is a knockdown for the NCAA. Sometimes you take a shot right on the chin, and this is certainly one of them.
It's been a roller coaster ride in college sports, especially college football over the last 10-12 months. Big name programs have continually placed themselves in the headlines for things besides winning national championships, and instead for an inability to properly monitor and police themselves. I'm assuming you noticed I only touched on three programs. They aren't the only ones. Over the last three years, UNC, Tennessee, USC, Auburn, Boise State, and others have been in trouble. The NCAA is taking major punishment. Keep in mind that in every case mentioned, some sort of investigation continues. If this isn't the worst year, please let me know which is?

Jimmy Kimmel and Manny Pacquiao have such great chemistry that now the two are singing duets together. Pacquiao, who will fight Juan Manuel Marquez next weekend, made his customary pre-fight stop by Kimmel's show to discuss boxing, his career, and what's on the horizon.
If you've caught Manny on Kimmel before then you know that Pacquiao usually performs a little song or something, but on this trip he and Jimmy teamed up to croon "How Deep Is Your Love".
Check it out.
I think Pacquiao is a really nice guy, but his singing makes me want to puke. It's just awful! All the yes men who are telling him that this junk sounds good should be lined up in front of a firing squad and put down!
Here is how the song should really go courtesy of the Bee Gees.
