Boxing Video: Kimbo Slice Makes Pro Boxing Debut with KO
If you've been listening to Sports with Mr. Factoid on BlogTalk Radio over the last month or so, you were aware that Kimbo Slice was making his pro boxing debut this past Saturday in Miami, Oklahoma.
Kevin Ferguson, better known as Kimbo Slice laced up the boxing gloves and got busy against James Wade, a fighter with very little experience.
Here's the entire fight for your viewing pleasure. I apologize for the quality in advance.
I didn't expect this to be much of a fight considering it was Ferguson's first pro bout. You would think that his management team would do a good job of hand picking an opponent for an easy win, and from the looks of the tape they accomplished that goal.
I can't imagine that the 37 year old Slice will ever be a top contender for a heavyweight championship, but his backyard fighting resume coupled with his short-lived MMA career make him a viable ticket seller until he gets KO'd.

LBL Video: Lingerie Basketball League is Open For Business
I'm sure that you've heard of the Lingerie Football League before. It's that women's football league where all the players are wearing those tight little boy shorts and garter belts with oversized helmets and shoulder pads. They've been giving guys wood for a few years now. If you're not hip to what I'm talking about though, click that link and get with the program.
Fellas, I've got some good news and some bad news for you. The good news is that you can now watch ladies play basketball in skimpy attire similar to the LFL in the new Lingerie Basketball League (LBL). The bad news, which you probably already figured out, is that you've got to watch women's basketball. It's a give and take world guys.
Here is some video from the opening weekend of the new LBL. Check it out.
Now the league only has four teams at the moment which are all out of Los Angeles; L.A. Beauties, L.A. Divas, L.A. Glam, and the L.A. Starlets. I think it's safe to say that this act won't be traveling outside of L.A that much in it's infancy.
I can't promise that I'll ever watch a single game, but at least you can decide for yourself if you want to tune in for lingerie hoops. My job here is done.

Hoops Video: Timofey Mozgov Gets Some Dunk Retribution
Timofey Mozgov might always be remembered for being Blake Griffin's poster boy during Griffin's rookie season. When Blake put his sack in Mozgov's face, the Russian center went from obscure Knickerbocker post man, to international victim in a heartbeat.
Now I realize that throwing it down on sub-par European competition doesn't necessarily count as retribution, but it at least displays that Mozgov can get off the floor and throw it down over 6'2" shooting guards. And yes, that's sad!
Remember kids to always use two hands for safety as Mozgov demonstrated in the clip.
Hat tip to Knicks Journal.

Hoops Video: LeBron James Gets Ripped and Dunked on by Asian Hooper
You remember when LeBron James got dunked on by Jordan Crawford a couple of summers ago? You remember how the tape mysteriously vanished, and how it suddenly reappeared for the world to see? Well history has a funny way of repeating itself, but this go round the tape went viral within just a few minutes.
LeBron is now the victim of getting posterized by some lanky Asian kid who not only dunked on him, but stole his rock and then flushed it on him.
Is it me, or does LeBron's handle leave a lot to be desired? James' is a great player, but his ball handling skills aren't that stellar. A player of his stature should never have his ball stolen in a game against inferior competition.
The part of the video that amusing me more than LeBron getting victimized, was how he tried to come right back down the floor and answer the dunk, only to get away with a traveling violation and then a garbage pass which resulted in a turnover. Nice job Bron Bron!
Foreign players have got to be chomping at the bit in the hopes that the NBA does have a prolonged lockout so they can get themselves a piece of self proclaimed 'King'.
Note to LeBron: Work on ball handling.

Video: Dennis "The Worm" Rodman Enters Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame
There haven't been many players in the history of the NBA who played with the passion and enthusiasm of Dennis Rodman, and last night he was rewarded by the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for those attributes.
"The Worm" was one of my favorite ball players when I was growing up because he never cared about scoring or being the 'man' on the teams he played for, but was more concerned about being the ultimate team guy and sacrificing for the other 11 guys he played with.
From his Bad Boy days in Detroit, to his run with the Chicago Bulls, Rodman exuded tremendous heart and courage on the basketball floor. I admired Dennis for how hard he worked and how unselfish he was during the course of his career, and it was a privilege to have watched him play.
A old guy at a local gym I used to play at nicknamed me Rodman, and that means even more to me now than ever before.
His speech was excellent, and it was as emotional as the man was on the court. That sport coat was off the chain too! I honestly wish he would have taken more time Friday night, but those 12 minutes were as heart felt as you'll ever see during an induction speech. I say congrats to one of the NBA's hardest workers on his induction into the hall of fame. It's a well deserved accomplishment!

Video: Michael Irvin Speaks on Floyd Mayweather Ducking Manny Pacquiao
Michael Irvin has never been shy about speaking his mind. Just last month Irvin announced that his brother was homosexual and then appeared on the cover of a popular gay magazine called Out.
That was last month folks. Now, #88 is talking about the feud between boxing's pound 4 pound kings, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Check it out for yourself.
Let me say this. I don't agree that Floyd is making the "brothers" look bad by not fighting Pacquiao because this is a story that's much deeper than just lacing up the gloves in honor of his race, but I do feel Irving's passion for wanting to see the fight.
Everyone wants to see it, but will Pacquiao ever agree to take the test?

Video: Snoop Dog Featuring Deion Sanders - Fame
Deion Sanders isn't a stranger to the music scence, as evident by his old school hit "Must Be The Money", but it's been awhile since the recent NFL hall of fame inductee graced a track.
Sanders, who kicked it with Snoop Dog and Ice Cube in Canton Saturday night has a new song entitled "Fame".

Sports with Mr. Factoid Live on BlogTalk Radio - Episode #23
I'm quite sure that you were listening live, but just in case you were busy with life's duties, here is the latest episode/podcast of Sports with Mr. Factoid.
It was a really interesting show with topics ranging from Brandon Marshall's admission of a mental disorder to Toni Kukoc's alleged involvement in a prostitution ring. Oh yeah, I talked about the retirement of Randy Moss too.
So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and click that play button below and enjoy me rant about all things sports.

Hoops Video: Michael Beasley Loses His Cool, Mushes Fan in Face
I'm looking for any type of basketball footage I can right now, which isn't any different from countless other lost souls who count on NBA summer league to get them through baseball season.
We know that Kevin Durant has been making the rounds to New York rec. leagues the last month or so, but he isn't the only NBA baller making a name for himself.
Enter Michael Beasley of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Beasley wasn't "Super Cool" like the tattoo on his back indicates. I would suggest he refrain from putting his hands on fans at street ball games too, unless he has a desire to taste hot lead. Streets are always watching.
Hat tip to Cosby Sweaters.

Hoops Video: Kevin Durant Goes Bizerk At Rucker Park with 66 Points
If you take an NBA superstar and put him in a game against some average or slightly above average talent, what you get is something that resembles the following performance by Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant.
His game is sick and that jumper is wet. Check it out.
A ballplayer the caliber of KD can get just about any shot he wants whenever he wants it anyway, so if you put sub par defenders on him there's little doubt he will explode like he did at Rucker Park.

NBA Video: Commissioner Stern Speaks About Lockout with ESPN
I've always liked David Stern as a commissioner, but I fear that I'm in the minority these days. The NBA lockout has reached it's 33rd day and very little, if any progress has been made.
Early Tuesday the league began filing an unfair labor complaint with the National Labor Relations Board, and a federal lawsuit in New York in which they claim the players aren't negotiating in good faith.
Here is Stern commenting on the situation.

Baseball Video: Minor League Manager Throws Major Tantrum
Coaches and managers have a breaking point just like anyone else, but when they reach it you better believe all hell is going to break loose.
Here is a Stubby Clapp, the manager of the Tri-City Valley Cats exploding all over an umpire for what he percieved to be a bad call. Check it out.
I love watching these tirades unfold. I think that people forget the pressure these guys are under sometimes, so watching them blow off a bit of steam is refreshing.

Candy of The Day......Former WWE Diva Lita
Lita was as hot in the ring as she was out of it. As a WWE Diva she oozed sex appeal and wasn't afraid to let it show. She was the first female that I can remember in wrestling to make her underway a part of her wardrobe. God I miss those thongs shots.
