"Got My Own Spoons" - DJ Steve Porter Teams with Wheaties
DJ Steve Porter is making some serious bank these days. He's done some of the most awesome video remixes the sports world has ever seen. From Allen Iverson's 'Press Hop' to the Randy Moss 'One Clap', Porter is taking the audio sound bite game to a totally new level.
In the following piece, Porter teams with cereal giant Wheaties to create "Got My Own Spoons". The commercial features Peyton Manning, Kevin Garnett, Albert Pujols, Bryan Clay, and Hunter Kemper.
Pretty cool stuff!

MLB Fan Video: Dad Drops Little Girl for Foul Ball
Catching a foul ball at a baseball game is always cool. Recently we've had the chance to see some fans make some incredible grabs, including a couple of fathers holding newborn babies. I don't understand why you take a newborn to a baseball game, but that's a topic of debate for another discussion.
The following footage shows you what a fail is all about. I'm willing to bet money this guy slept on the couch last night, and will probably be there until his daughters bruise goes away.
How do you explain that when you get home? "Honey, it was coming straight at us! I didn't have a choice!"
What a joke!

MMA Video: Rampage Goes In on Karyn Bryant at UFC130
Rampage didn't have to work all that hard Saturday night at UFC 130. He easily defeated Matt Hamill by UD to keep himself relevant in the light heavyweight division.
His post fight interview with MMA reporter Karyn Bryant was far more interesting than the fight. Jackson has been known to say and do just about anything to female reporters during interviews, and this piece you're about to watch isn't any different.
Dude is a fool. I've never heard the "motorboat" line before, but I think I may add that to my repertoire.
A couple of years ago he actually dry humped another reporter by the name of Heather Nichols. You can follow Karyn on Twitter @KarynBryant.

Indy 500 Video: J.R. Hildebrand Crashes on Last Lap, Hands Victory to Dan Wheldon
I actually only watched the last five laps or so of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, but the way the race finished I would say I saw the best part hands down.
J.R. Hildebrand had the race in his back pocket on the final lap when he inexplicably crashed coming around the last corner.
Losing is always a hard pill to swallow, especially when you can see the finish line like Hildebrand could.
I hope that doesn't scar the rookie for the rest of his life.

Hockey is violent and dangerous. That really sums up this clip.
During game seven of the Eastern Conference Finals on Friday night, Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos took a puck to the dome.
When I first saw the highlight I thought dude was done for sure, but he made a comeback later in the same period.
That's what I call sacrifice for the team You can't deny that hockey players are some tough SOB's after seeing something like this.

Kyle Singler had a great career at Duke, and now is on the verge of fulfilling a dream of playing in the National Basketball Association.
But before he walks across the stage to shake commissioner David Stern's hand, Singler has a few more tricks up his sleeve.
Check him out here in his second trick shot video.
I was most impressed with the shot in the pool. Pretty cool Kyle.

Playboy Playmate Channels Her Inner Mars Blackmon
I can't imagine that Spike Lee, AKA Mars Blackmon is disappointed to see a hot Playboy Playmate reinvent his original "It's gotta be the shoes" add. Even if he is, who really cares?
Everyone say hello to Francesca Frigo, a gorgeous model of Italian and Venezuelan decent. Frigo, who was the playmate of the month in August of 2010, is a part of a cool campaign by Playboy to rank the top 23 Air Jordans of all time.
Playboy will release their list of the top 23 Air Jordans on May 31st, so keep your eye out for that.

Boxing News: Oscar De La Hoya Enters Rehab

TMZ Sports broke a story yesterday regarding former boxing great and current president/CEO of Golden Boy Promotions, Oscar De La Hoya. According to their report, De La Hoya checked himself into a rehab clinic to deal with substance abuse issues.
I, like many other boxing fans follow Oscar on Twitter, and have recently been privy to some very interesting tweets from the former world champion and Olympic gold medalist.
Here is the statement released by De La Hoya to TMZ Sports: "After doing an honest evaluation of myself, I recognize that there are certain issues that I need to work on. Like everyone, I have my flaws, and I do not want to be one of those people that is afraid to admit and address those flaws. Throughout my career and my life, I have always met all challenges head-on, and this is no different. I am confident that with the support of my family and friends, I will become a stronger, healthier person. I ask for respect and privacy as my family and I go through this process."
As a fan of De La Hoya, I sincerely hope that he will be able to get through this rough patch of his life. Oscar has always been classy and carried himself as a professional, so if he has the right people in his corner I have little doubt that he will come out of this situation just fine.

Kevin Durant Dunks on Brendan Haywood (GM2 OKC v. Dallas)
I'm only a few days late posting this dunk video. I know you've seen it by now probably 1,000 times.
It's arguably one of the most impressive dunks in a playoff game in the history of the NBA. Kevin Durant is a very special talent. If you don't believe me, maybe you should ask the victim of this dunk, former UNC standout Brendan Haywood.

Boxing Video: Roy Jones Jr. Goes to Sleep Against Denis Lebedev in Moscow
Roy Jones Jr. was at one time the most dominant boxer in the fight game, but that seems like ages ago now.
Yesterday, the former great took another step towards retirement when he was badly beaten and stopped by cruiserweight contender Denis Lebedev in Russia.
If you've ever been a fan of Jones, then I warn you this may be hard to watch.
I really hope that Roy will call it a career after this performance. He hasn't had a decent showing in quite sometime, and his losses get more embarrassing each time out.

'The Game' Should Stick to Rapping, Because His Game Sucks
When you don't work on your game it suffers. The longer you stay out of the gym, the worse you look when you finally pick up a rock and try to get back on the basketball court. That's just the way it goes.
Our example of this today is hip-hop artist 'The Game', who was rumored at one time to be a pretty decent baller out in Cali.
I saw NBA baller DeMar DeRozan toward the end of the video. Looks like he was on the winning squad!
Hat tip to Cosby Sweaters.

Candy of The Day......Bella Gonzalez (WAG of 'Sugar' Shane Mosely)

The best part of the Shane Mosely & Manny Pacquiao fight from Saturday night were the shots of Mosely's girlfriend, Bella Gonzalez.
Bella predicted an 8th knockout for her man prior to the bout and was definitely into the fight for the entire 12 rounds. With her energy she would have had a better chance against Pacquiao than Mosely did. I'm just saying.
I'm not really sure how 'Sugar' Shane landed this goddess, but whatever he's doing I suggest he keep it up or somebody else will be 'sparring' with Bella.

Sergio Martinez vs. Manny Pacquiao is Logical for P4P Supremacy
Saturday night's fight between Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosely wasn't the boxing match that fans were looking for, but that was anticipated when the fight was announced. It was really a battle of nice guys, and it ended up being more of a buddy-like sparring match than a truly competitive championship fight. That's now history, and of course the question is who will Pacquiao destr....I mean fight next?
The list of names is the same as it's been, but I believe the answer to our current P4P riddle involves matching 36-year-old current middleweight champion Sergio Martinez and Manny in a catchweight classic.
The idea isn't as farfetched as some may think.
If it's an issue of size, then lets examine Martinez and his physical stature. He's 5-10, so he's got some inches on Manny, but so did Antonio Margarito. Sergio has a 75 inch reach, two inches longer than Oscar De La Hoya, who fought and lost to the Pac-Man in 2008. The reach advantage of his opponents hasn't been a factor in recent Pacquiao fights, so it's hard to believe that an additional two inches would seriously matter.
Now I'm thinking a catchweight Jr. Middleweight fight at 153 1/2 would be perfect. It would be the biggest that Paquiao has ever fought(145 3/4 vs. Clottey), and the first time Martinez would be at that weight since an early 2009 bout against Kermit Cintron. It's a hard sell only because Manny has to gain weight, but in the same light Martinez, who's a finely conditioned athlete must lose some. It's not impossible.
If it's an issue of interest, then someone isn't listening to the fans. We can't get Floyd Jr., so let's do the next best thing and get Marvilla. His popularity is at an all time high right now, and he's proven himself capable of giving the fans incredibly entertaining fights with his uniquely slick and unorthodox style.
Both of these guys understand how to play to the crowd. It's part of their styles. The two champions have given boxing fans two of the most ferocious knockouts in recent memory. Pacquiao's KO over Hatton was vicious, but what Martinez did to Paul Williams in their rematch was just a tad bit nastier!
If it's a question of whether it will sell or not, there shouldn't be a question! It's a no-brainer. At this point you can put Manny in there against a corpse and people are going to buy it. It will do fantastic PPV numbers. A matchup between the current middleweight champ and the P4P champ is money in the bank for Bob Arum and Lou Dibella. They can promote it as mud and it will still sell big! It's a win for both sides when it comes to the money.
I don't see an obstacle with the size, the fanfare, or the money here, so this could be a real fight.
I'm looking for great matchups and this has potential to be just that, but it's gonna take a shift from hardcore fans hung up on a potential Mayweather fight. If he doesn't want to fight, then let's move on as a collective and make him seek out the spotlight once we shine it on someone else. Fight fans shouldn't be held hostage by a Floyd Mayweather fight that may never happen. Martinez versus Pacquiao is legit on paper. It's got classic written all over it.
