Video: Jose and Ozzie Canseco to Manage/Play for Yumica Scorpions

Jose Canseco either really loves baseball, or he's just to stubborn to let his 15 minutes of post-career fame fade away. Whether it's the former or the latter, he's back to suck up sports news yet again.

He and his twin brother Ozzie have signed on to manage the minor league Yumica Scorpions of the North American League.

Jose will be the clubs official manager and will also play 1st-base/DH on a full time basis. Ozzie is listed as the Scorpions hitting coach. He's also expected to play full time.



I would think that Canseco would love to manage a major league team one day. If he had that dream and thought coaching Yumica was the start, better wake him up now, because getting to the big leagues will be a next to impossible nightmare.
