"The Black Mamba" Passes Dominique Wilkins for 10th on NBA Scoring List

Kobe Bryant has hoisted up his fair share of shots during his 14 year NBA career. Some were good and many have been questionable, but that's a topic for an entirely different debate.

On Tuesday night Bryant passed the legendary "Human Highlight Film" Dominique Wilkins for 1oth on the NBA all-time scoring list. He's now scored 26,671 points for his career.

Kobe drove to the basket midway through the third quarter against Detroit and scored a layup to achieve the milestone.

Bryant and the struggling Lakers beat the lowly Pistons 108-83. Kobe finished the game with 17 points on 6-18 shooting from the field.

Oscar Robinson sits ninth on the all time list with 26,710 points. Kobe now only needs 39 points to pass "The Big O". The next active player that #24 can pass is former teammate and current Celtics' center Shaquille O'Neal (28,500).

In case you were wondering, Bryant still needs 5,621 points to catch up with the great Michael Jordan.
