I missed the game Monday night game between the Cardinals and 49ers, but I heard that Derek Anderson had an episode of sorts during the post game press conference.
From what I can tell, DA got pretty pissed after a reporter asked him about an incident on the sideline where he was caught laughing with one of his offensive lineman.
Sometimes you've got to laugh to keep from crying! The Cardinals have lost six straight though, which certainly isn't a laughing matter.

Maybe You Should Rise (MJ's Response to LeBron)
Nike and MJ didn't take a shot at LeBron like what's being reported, so take a chill pill and calm down. The greatest baller of all time still has more class than you think. This is however one of the best videos made by a fan that I've seen.
The Jordan part of the video is a few years old, but it really fit well with the LeBron piece.
The Miami Heat and their "Big 3" are currently 8-7 and in the midst of a three game losing streak. They currently trail Orlando and Atlanta in the Southeast division. Ouch!!

NBA Line of The Night

On an exciting NFL Sunday the NBA took a back seat to professional football as usual, but there were enough solid performances to select a winner for line of the night.
Tonight's line belongs to Gilbert Arenas.
The controversial Wizards star dropped 19 points, 16 dimes(career high), and grabbed 4 rebounds. He shot 9-18 from the field.
Video: Blake Griffin Dunks on Tim Mozgov Multiple Times
Blake Griffin continues to amaze us just about every time he takes the court. Last night against the Knicks, Griffin made some of the most ridunkulous plays I've witnessed in a long time.
NBA Line of The Night

Two things make his line special. First, it was the first triple-double in franchise history. Second, it was a nice gift to his mother on her birthday. Good job Captain Jack!
His line: 24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 dimes, 2 steals, 2 blocks. He shot 76% on 10-13 from the field.
Boxing: Sergio Martinez v. Paul Williams Ends in KO for Maravilla
Paul Williams versus Sergio Martinez II was over seemingly before it began. In what was supposed to be the fight of the year, boxing fans likely ended up witnessing the KO of the year.
Martinez put a stop to The Punisher with a huge left hand in the second round that sent Williams crumbling to the canvas. The knockout blow was simply devastating, leaving Williams face down, eyes wide open, and unable to answer a ten count.
Here is some fight footage. Actually, here is the fight.
On the heels of the most impressive victory of his career, Sergio Martinez has vaulted himself into elite fighter status. When you do what he did against a top fighter it's automatic.
There are some really intriguing matchups that could be made for the Argentinian star now. Of course everyone is talking Pacquiao and Mayweather, but I won't get my hopes up there. I for one wouldn't mind seeing him in there with super middleweight champion Lucian Bute in some sort of catchweight fight.

Hoops Video: Monta Ellis Dunks on Ronny Turiaf
The Golden State Warriors have one of the most explosive young guards in the NBA in Monta Ellis. The Mississippi native is averaging 27.7 ppg right now and shooting an incredible 52% from the field.
Last night his squad took an L against the Knicks, but Ellis did deliver a few nice highlights for the fans. Check him out here dunking on former teammate Ronny Turiaf.

Link Dump: What Caught Factoid's Eye
So I'm sitting here at work bored out of my skull waiting for the clock to reach 3 p.m. so I can get the hell out of here. Don't get me wrong, I'm blessed to be employed, but I hate working on Saturdays. There is something sacred about the weekend, and working during it should be against the law. Maybe I'll write a letter to my congressman or something. As a fight fan I am very excited about tonight. HBO is airing the Paul Williams v. Sergio Martinez bout for the middleweight championship and UFC 123 is live from Detroit. The UFC 123 card is rather impressive with Matt Hughes taking on B.J. Penn and Rampage stepping inside the octagon with Lyoto Machida.
With bouts like those lined up, I'm in combat sport heaven!
Here are a few links to keep you busy. Enjoy.

Video: Allen Iverson Interview and Highlights From Turkish League Debut

Allen Iverson is still playing basketball in case you weren't aware. The Answer is now a member of Besiktas Cola Turka Istanbul of the Turkish Basketball League (TBL).
I don't think many people believed that AI would actually sign with a European club, but the former Philadelphia 76er shocked us all when he announced he was actually taking his talents to Istanbul.
Iverson sat down for an interview about his arrival in Turkey, his respect for European basketball, what he imagines European fans will be like, and much more. Check it out.
On Tuesday night, Iverson made his debut with Besiktas. He scored 15 points, grabbed three rebounds, and had two helpers in 23 minutes. Here is some game footage for your entertainment.

Trick Shot Video: Duke's Kyle Singler Makes Some Awesome Trick Shots
College basketball is back in a big way and I for one am super excited. My favorite squad is #1 in the land after winning the national title back in April, so let it be known that the Blue Devils will repeat as champions.
Now that you are up to speed, here is Duke forward Kyle Singler making some incredible trick shots at the Duke practice facility and Cameron Indoor.
Singler has already been declared a preseason All-American, but for the Devils to get back to the Final Four he must establish himself as a dominate offensive force this season.

Hoops Video: Michael Beasley Dunks on Old Man Theo Ratliff
Michael Beasley never lived up to his potential in Miami, which is actually another story all together.
The former K-State standout is now a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves and is averaging a meager 14.7 ppg and 4.7 rpg, while shooting 41.7% from the field.
Last night against the Los Angeles Lakers Beasley upgraded his professional highlight tape with a sick poke on the ageless Theo Ratliff. Check it out.

Hoops Video: Bill Walker Dunks All Over Andrew Bogut
Bill Walker isn't a household name in the NBA, but you best believe the boy has some serious game. Check Walker out here as he goes baseline against the Milwaukee Bucks and finishes with a nasty dunk over Andrew Bogut.
The Knicks still lost the game to the Bucks on Tuesday night by a final score of 107-80.

EuroLeague Hoops Video: Mike Batiste Kicks Opponent in The Head
EuroLeague basketball is gaining popularity each day here in the states, and if we keep getting clips like the next one, we may soon see some games broadcast on our network and cable television. It's not likely, but neither was the Dallas Cowboys piss poor NFL record this year.
Mike Batiste, who plays for Panathinaikos steps on the head of Saso Ozbalt of Olympia during a recent EuroLeague game. Check it out.
The end result was an unsportsmanlike foul call. Clearly, Batiste was lost in the moment and wasn't thinking that kicking another player in the head during a basketball game was the wrong thing to do.
In related news, several MMA organizations have contacted Batiste about a career change.

Manny Pacquiao and Will Ferrell Perform "Imagine" on Jimmy Kimmel
It's become customary for Manny Pacquioao to appear on Jimmy Kimmel before he steps inside the ring, and last night the pound-for-pound champ got a little help from funny man Will Ferrell.
The duet of Ferrell and Pacquiao performed the legendary song, "Imagine" to the delight of Kimmel's studio audience. Check it out!
I've been watching HBO's 24/7 for Pacquiao/Margarito and like most boxing fans I've noticed Pacquiao's general disinterest with training. He got pummeled by Amir Khan on the last episode during sparring and if Manny doesn't get serious he's going to get the beating of his life come November 13th in Dallas.
Good thing he and Ferrell can form their own group if things don't work out!

NBA Video: Eric Gordon Dunks on James Anderson
James Anderson was welcomed to the NBA in a major way last night. The Spurs rookie small forward tested Clippers guard Eric Gordon. Unfortunately for him, he didn't receive a passing grade.
Gordon also provided Tim Duncan with a nasty facial during the game. At the request of Timmy D, we won't be supplying that footage.

Classic Randy Moss Video: "Straight Cash Homey"

Randy Moss has always spoken his mind. The media, fans, and detractors alike are well aware of that. Some things just don't change.
In the wake of his release from the Vikings, the question is which NFL team will give him his next opportunity? The Rams, Bengals, Cowboys, and even the Patriots have been mentioned in the last 24 hours as possible clubs with interest in acquiring Moss.
Like most fans of the game I'm intrigued by Moss and what will happen next during his 2010 NFL soap opera season.
While we wait though, how about taking a look back at one of Randy's most memorable interviews.
