The Celtics have been able to win games despite not having playmaker Rajon Rondo in the lineup the last couple weeks.
On Wednesday night though the C's witnessed Kevin Garnett go down with a leg injury. Garnett, who has been playing at a high level this season hurt the leg in the first quarter on a non-contact slam dunk.
The initial x-ray came back negative, but KG will undergo an MRI on Thursday to check for damage. ESPN Boston reporter Chris Forsberg said it appeared to be a calf injury and not the same knee that Garnett hurt against Utah a couple of years back.
If the Big Ticket is down for any extended period of time it's certainly bad news for a Boston club that has been one of the NBA's best this season.
