The New York Yankees added another World Series title to their trophy case on Wednesday night, bringing their championship total to an incredible 27. New York defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 7-3 in game 6 before a jam packed Yankee Stadium.
It was a long year for the Bronx Bombers, but they did a fantastic job of handling adversity early in their season and playing solid team baseball when it mattered. I don't claim to be a Yankee fan, but I say congratulations to the the entire New York Yankee organization on a tremendous accomplishment.
What are you talking about? The Yanks pay all that money out and just got a title. They been garbage but can spend more than everybody else. It ain't no good accomplishment.
