According to various reports and Allen Iverson himself(via Twitter), the Answer is headed south for the winter. His deal is reported to be worth $3.5 million over one year.
Iverson's tweeted early this morning about the move.
"God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career," he wrote. In a post a few minutes later, he said, "I feel that they are committed to developing a winner and I know that I can help them to accomplish that. I feel that I can trust them."

I'm glad that Iverson has found a new home to hoist shots up. On paper the Grizzlies look like a team that could compete for a lower tier playoff spot in the Western Conference. With Iverson, O.J. Mayo, Rudy Gay, Zach Randolph, and Marc Gasol the fans in Memphis are in for some high scoring, uptempo basketball.
